About Us

Marvelous College of Technology Incorporated (MCTI) has undergone a remarkable journey since its establishment in 2008 as Marvelous Institute of Technical College Incorporated (MITCI). Initially focused on providing quality technical education at affordable rates, the institution evolved over the years, expanding its program offerings and upgrading its facilities.

MITCI initially offered Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) courses, and later collaborated with Southern Mindanao Institute of Technology to offer baccalaureate degrees in Hotel and Restaurant Management and Information Technology. This prompted a change in the institution’s name to Marvelous College of Technology Incorporated (MCTI) in 2008.

The institution continued to grow, achieving TESDA accreditation and expanding its program offerings to include Bachelor’s degrees. Over the years, MCTI developed linkages with various industries, both local and international, facilitating employment opportunities for its graduates. The institution’s commitment to quality education is reflected in its pursuit of additional accreditations and certifications, demonstrating its dedication to producing globally competitive professionals.

In response to the changing educational landscape, MCTI embraced the K-12 program, opening its Senior High School department in 2017. The institution continued to evolve, introducing new programs accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and adapting to government initiatives such as UniFAST to support students’ educational needs. Despite facing challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, MCTI has remained resilient, adapting to the situation and prioritizing the safety of its students. The institution has consistently grown in terms of enrollment, infrastructure, and program offerings, establishing itself as a leading institution in South Cotabato, committed to providing accessible and quality education. MCTI’s history reflects its unwavering dedication to keeping pace with the changing times, serving the community’s needs, and contributing actively to its development.
